Port Welshpool

Life at Port Welshpool

The town's defining attraction is the remarkable Port Welshpool Long Jetty, stretching approximately 800 metres into Corner Inlet and recognised as Victoria's longest jetty. Originally constructed in 1938, the historic jetty was extensively restored and reopened to visitors, offering spectacular views across the inlet and towards Wilsons Promontory. The Port Welshpool and District Maritime Museum also provides an insight into the area's fascinating history of fishing, whaling, shipping and maritime trade.
